Continuing Land Rover's established commitment to the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show, the brand has supported this year's Diamond Jubilee show in which The Queen hosted over 80,000 people across five days in the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The Royal Windsor Horse Show is the largest outdoor equestrian event in the UK, with over 3000 horses and ponies taking part in more than 164 jumping, showing, championship and  carriage driving classes. This year's Show was particularly important with the celebration of Her Majesty The Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Each evening the show staged a spectacular Pageant with major international equestrian displays, some of which have never been seen in the UK.

For the eighth consecutive year, Land Rover acted as the title sponsor as well as supporting eight individual events, including the crowd drawing Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix.

As one of the most important carriage driving events in the UK, the Land Rover International Driving Grand Prix included a World Cup Qualifier for the Four‑In‑Hand class and took place over four days. Over 80 competitors from 18 nations took part in this event with the most popular phase; The Marathon which took place on Saturday. Ysbrand Chardon took the overall title this year after a thrilling competition enjoyed by the Windsor crowds.

As the official vehicle provider to the Show, Land Rover was at the heart of the action with over 100 Land Rover vehicles in use across the event. These included dedicated support vehicles for course officials, the Windsor Castle Police, horse ambulances, fire tenders, and, of course, VIP chauffeuring.

Laura Schwab, Marketing Director, Land Rover UK, said: "Land Rover's unique mix of capability and luxury fits perfectly with Royal Windsor and it is a privilege to contribute to an event, which is hosted by Her Majesty the Queen, in this very special Diamond Jubilee year.
