The King’s Cup, created by Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, is an eight boat regatta race which will take place in Cowes, The Isle of Wight, in August 2019.
The sports event will see eight teams compete for an esteemed trophy to raise awareness and funds for patronages chosen by Their Royal Highnesses.
The charities include Child Bereavement UK, Centrepoint, London’s Air Ambulance Charity 30th Anniversary Campaign, Tusk, Action on Addiction, Place2Be, the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, and The Royal Foundation’s programme in support of Early Years.

Land Rover is proud to be the Presenting Partner for The King’s Cup. This an exciting new addition to the sailing calendar with eight teams, including The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, competing for a prestigious, historic trophy to raise awareness and funds for eight charities chosen by Their Royal Highnesses.
We have a strong relationship with sailing including grass roots work with sailing clubs to inspire the next generation of designers, engineers and sailors as well as the top of the professional sport. The King’s Cup ties in with our support for Lendy Cowes Week and the Cowes Sail GP event.
