LEADERS IN MODERN BRITISH LUXURY: RANGE ROVER ANNOUNCED AS OFFICIAL PARTNER OF THE CHAMPIONSHIPS, WIMBLEDON
The fleet, including the latest Range Rover and Range Rover Sport plug‑in electric hybrid models, will be used to transport players, their teams and officials to and from official venues throughout The Championships, using the on‑site charging facilities to maximise the use of Range Rover’s pure electric driving range of up to 75 miles. *
Reducing vehicle emissions is a critical component of Wimbledon’s environment positive commitment. The on‑site charging infrastructure at the recently completed Indoor Tennis Centre is powered by renewable electricity and is capable of accommodating increasing numbers of hybrid and electric vehicles as progress continues towards the All England Club’s 2030 net zero operational emissions target.

We are delighted to be continuing our long‑standing partnership with JLR with the announcement of Range Rover as Official Vehicle Partner. I am particularly pleased with the inclusion of a significant number of lower emission plug‑in hybrid vehicles in the fleet, with a focus on as many journeys as possible being delivered in EV mode. This is another step towards our goal of achieving net zero operational emissions by 2030.
