DAVE WILLIAMS

Dave took on the role of Executive Director, Human Resources in July 2020, with responsibility and oversight across the people function of JLR. 

Dave has a wealth of experience in HR and business transformation, starting his HR career in 1998 and taking on roles across multiple HR functions in the UK and European markets for Ford Motor Company. 

In 2007, Dave joined JLR as Head of Employee Relations at Solihull Manufacturing Operations before being promoted to HR Director of Global Marketing, Sales and Service in 2008.

In this role, Dave led the separation from Ford in all international operations, establishing JLR in new markets. He was integral to the development of the China organisation and its subsequent growth, as well as leading the transformation to the HR Operating Model. 

Throughout his career, Dave has delivered real outcomes and large-scale, at-pace business transformations through the deployment of efficient business structures, such as JaLR’s Charge programme. He holds a number of external roles within the HR industry, showcasing his leadership and experience in the field. 

Dave has a Masters in Personnel Management from University of the West of England and a BA in Business Admin from Middlesex University. He is married with three children and lives in Warwickshire.
