Designed to enhance infotainment capabilities and deliver an even richer and more connected experience, InControl Apps allows Jaguar Land Rover-optimised Android and iOS apps to be controlled via the vehicle’s touchscreen. As well as offering easy access to contacts, calendar and music library, there is an ever-growing range of third-party apps that provide a variety of services. For example, Sygic is an advanced navigation app, Hotelseeker helps travellers to discover and book accommodation around the world and Stitcher allows drivers to listen to their favourite podcasts and radio shows on demand.

Bags, wallets or keys can easily be left behind in the rush to work or the school run. The world’s first integration of the innovative Tile tracking app will make this a thing of the past. The app uses Tile tags, tiny Bluetooth trackers that can be attached to important items and used to monitor their whereabouts using smartphone technology. Once the app is initiated using the InControl Touch Pro’s touchscreen, customers are alerted if the tagged items are not in the vehicle and are even able to get on-screen directions to their last known location, helping save valuable time before they set off.

InControl Touch Pro’s advanced satellite navigation system is designed to make every journey easier and more enjoyable. Commute Mode learns a driver’s daily commute, so it can offer alternatives using historical and real-time traffic information. The system can alert drivers if there isn’t enough fuel to complete a journey and guide them to the nearest filling station, display a 360-degree view of their destination and even direct them to the nearest parking space when they arrive.

Drivers can always stay connected on the move with Wi-Fi capability. Passengers can use the wireless network to work, surf the net and be entertained on long journeys. Up to eight tablets or smartphones can be connected to the Wi-Fi hotspot.
InControl Remote Premium
InControl Remote Premium links drivers seamlessly and securely to their vehicle when they are elsewhere, for greater convenience and security. By connecting an iOS or Android smartphone to the car, owners are able to interact with their vehicle from anywhere in the world. It enables the driver to remotely lock or unlock the doors, reset the alarm when it sounds, and even pre-condition the cabin before the start of a journey*.
