The 2010 Range Rover has received AutoPacific's 2010 Best in Class Ideal Vehicle Award in the Luxury SUV Category, rebounding in a big way from last year's ranking; talk about making a comeback!
AutoPacific’s 2010 Ideal Vehicle Awards (IVA) are based on over 42,000 surveys completed by owners of new cars and light trucks in the United States in the first quarter of 2010. The Ideal Vehicle Awards measure how closely a vehicle meets the customer's expectations. Buyers are questioned on vehicle size, visibility, roominess, handling, technology, storage, ride and safety features. The 2010 Range Rover is the overall winner, achieving the highest score of all vehicles, and the Best in Class Ideal Vehicle for the Luxury SUV category.
“Land Rover is proud of the Range Rover’s unique blend of visual appeal, all‑terrain capability and ultimate luxury,” said Chris Marchand, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Sales, Land Rover North America. “To maintain customer satisfaction and loyalty is not an easy task, so we are honored that the Range Rover has been recognized by owners as their ideal vehicle.”
2010 has proven to be a big year thus far for Land Rover's premier luxury off‑roader as it celebrated its 40th Anniversary in June, announced the 2011 Range Rover and also welcomed a new addition to the Range Rover family, the all‑new Evoque. With all this excitement surrounding the brand, its no wonder Land Rover is leading the pack in the luxury SUV market.
