LAND ROVER NORTH AMERICA LAUNCHES OFFICIAL PINTEREST PAGE WITH GUEST PINNER - JOSH RUBIN

Land Rover North America is excited to announce the launch of an official Pinterest page with boards showcasing Land Rover vehicles and the Land Rover lifestyle. Who better to help launch the channel than friend to the brand Josh Rubin, former Range Rover Evoque NY City Shaper and Founder and Editor-in-chief of CoolHunting.com?

 

 

 

Josh will be guest curating a pinboard for the month of August that will showcase his interesting finds, reflecting the essence of Cool Hunting with a Land Rover twist.

 

 

 

As part of Land Rover North America’s overall marketing campaign, the brand has also been working on some other interesting digital campaigns to connect with their customers over the past year. The “Go Anywhere,  Do Anything” iconic brand has been pinning, tweeting and posting up a storm, to engage with a new age of consumers that is almost always logged on and connected in the digital and social media space. 

 

On Twitter, Land Rover USA will this week launch a trivia contest* to engage potential new followers and to provide their existing fan base on the popular social media site, a fun and rewarding way to interact with the brand*.

 

“Keep Calm and Carry On” - It originally was a phrase that appeared on a World War II-era British public safety poster, but the Internet has resurrected the phrase and created multiple custom interpretations of it. It’s been used with everything from “Keep Calm and Drink Coffee” to “Keep Calm and Fake a British accent.”

 

 

 

In keeping with its British roots, Land Rover has developed a “Keep Calm and Use Terrain Response” graphic which has garnered fantastic initial response on its social media platforms. Customers and brand loyalists have been requesting t-shirts of the graphic for some time now and so Land Rover has decided to give the people what they want!

 

Every Thursday in August, Land Rover North America will be giving away these graphic  t-shirts on Twitter as part of its weekly trivia contest*. The first 15 consumers to respond with a correct answer along with the #LandRoverTrivia hashtag (at 1pm EST) and the first 10 (at 5pm EST) could have a chance to win an original “Keep Calm and Use Terrain Response” T-shirt.

 

Over on Tumblr, in March, Land Rover North America launched its “Five by Five” campaign. Five photographers— Chris McPherson,  Jayms Ramirez, Adam Goldberg,  Frances Tulk-Hart and Zack Arias—shot the Land Rover LR4, Range Rover Evoque, Range Rover Sport, Range Rover Autobiography and Land Rover Heritage vehicles and documented it all on Tumblr as a way to showcase the vehicles as the centerpiece of a lifestyle. The breathtaking photos were hugely successful on Tumblr—with one photo being reblogged more than 5,000 times.
