America’s only four star, Three‑Day Event, “Rolex Kentucky” is one of the world’s premier equestrian competitions, featuring the very best horses and riders competing for a share of the $300,000 prize money.
This year’s event was also an official selection trial for the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF), helping to determine which U.S. event riders will be picked to compete at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada in July.
As a key sponsor, Land Rover had an extensive activation on site during the entire weekend at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington from April 23‑26. In addition to an off‑road test‑drive program for visitors, the brand awarded top U.S. rider William Coleman with a 24‑month lease of a Discovery Sport for achieving “Land Rover Best Ride of the Day.”
This year, for the first time, Land Rover also featured the “Young Driver’s Adventure Course,” where kids ages 4‑8 drove on a miniature test drive course in a vehicle mini Land Rover Series.
