The World's Largest Free Automobile Event in Downtown Toronto, June 20‑24 2011

TORONTO, June 20, 2011 ‑ Jaguar Land Rover will be featured at the world's largest free automobile event, Motorexpo, which is making its Canadian debut in Toronto's financial district, Brookfield Place, June 20‑24, 2011. On display will be the new 2012 model year Jaguar XKR‑S, 2011 Jaguar XJ and Jaguar XF; and for Land Rover the all new 2012 Range Rover Evoque, the 2011 Range Rover and the Range Rover Sport.

Jaguar XKR‑S
Making its first appearance in Canada, the XKR‑S is the most extreme expression yet of Jaguar's passion for building beautiful, fast cars. For the first time with a series production car, Jaguar gains entry to the exclusive '300km/h club' (186mph) thanks to the effortless performance of the supercharged 5.0‑litre AJ‑V8 engine. A revised fueling map means the direct‑injection powerplant now produces 550hp* and 502 lb/ft of torque. Extensive tuning has ensured that power delivery and performance are seamless, contributing to a 0‑60mph time of 4.2 seconds. The active exhaust encourages and rewards the enthusiastic driver with dramatic, motorsport‑inspired aural feedback.

The pinnacle of the XK range builds on experience gathered from the supercharged XKR and has been developed to extend the performance parameters of the car. This new sharper‑edged character allows the enthusiastic driver to explore the limits of the car's dynamics without losing the refinement for which Jaguar is famous.

2011 Jaguar XJ
The flagship sedan range blends the sleek lines of Jaguar's new design language with the brand's latest generation engines and chassis systems. Six XJ model variants include standard and long‑wheelbase (XJL) versions, the latter adding five inches of rear legroom and additional luxury amenities. The new XJ is the most powerful and luxurious in Jaguar's history, with an interior that offers the latest infotainment technology and a wide choice of leather and wood finishes. The range‑topping XJ Supersport and XJL Supersport are available by special order only.

The model range includes the XJ with a naturally aspirated 5.0‑liter V8, the XJ Supercharged with a 470 hp supercharged version of the engine, and the limited‑production XJ Supersport powered by a 510 hp supercharged version. An XJ Supersport can accelerate from 0‑100 km/h in just 5.0 seconds.
All 2011 XJ models are powered by variants of the AJ‑V8 Gen III 5.0‑liter V8 first introduced on the 2010 XF and XK models. The all‑aluminum four‑cam Jaguar V8 engines combine high power with high efficiency, thanks to such technologies as spray‑guided direct fuel injection and dual independent variable cam timing, plus a variable inlet manifold on the naturally aspirated engine. On the XJ Supercharged and Supersport models, a twin vortex system (TVS) supercharger and twin water‑cooled intercoolers are efficiently packaged in the engine's V.

Pricing:
XJ:  $88,000
XJL:  $95,500
XJ Supercharged:  $104,000
XJL Supercharged:  $107,000

2011 XF
The Jaguar XF sport sedan enters its third model year with a major powertrain change; for 2011, the 5.0‑liter AJ‑V8 Gen III direct‑injection engine, already standard on the XF Premium model, replaces the previous 4.2‑liter V8 in the XF base model. As a result, the entry Jaguar now offers 385 hp and 380 lb.‑ft. of torque, substantial increases over the 300 hp and 310 lb.‑ft. for the 2010 4.2‑liter model, and can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 5.8 seconds.  The 2011 Jaguar XF is the only car in its segment to offer an all‑V8 engine lineup.

The Jaguar XFR is powered by a 5.0‑liter direct‑injection supercharged V8 engine that delivers 510 hp and 461 lb.‑ft. of torque and can go from rest to 100 km in just 5.0 seconds. A twin vortex system (TVS) supercharger and twin water‑cooled intercoolers are efficiently packaged in the engine's V.
