LAND ROVER ANNOUNCES WINNERS OF 2022 DEFENDER NORTH AMERICAN TROPHY COMPETITION

  • Natasha Radwan and Teammate Jonathan Gunsur from Los Angeles, California – win the Classic V8 Trophy Works Experience
  • Charlie Miller and Teammate Patrick Miller from Boston, Massachusetts –win the Bowler Rally Experience
  • Over each wave, up to 15 teams of two competitors put their skills to the test at the Land Rover Experience Center in Manchester, Vermont
  • Brooks Laich, retired NHL Player and Outdoor Adventurist along with world class skier, Chris Davenport took part in the Defender Competition with content being shared on Outside Publications

(MAHWAH, N.J.) – October 27, 2022 – Land Rover today announced winners of the second annual North American Trophy Competition, an adventure off‑road event featuring the limited production Defender Trophy Edition SUV. Two winning teams have been awarded exclusive access to participate in Land Rover experiences in the UK. Natasha Radwan and Teammate Jonathan Gunsur from Los Angeles, California will take part in the Classic V8 Trophy Works Experience, as owners of a Defender Trophy Edition. Charles Miller, along with his brother and teammate Patrick Miller from Boston, Massachusetts, have won the Bowler Rally Experience.

Adventure Athlete and retired NHL player Brooks Laich, along with US Ski Hall of Famer, Chris Davenport took part in the competition, with content being developed for future Outside publication channels. The team provided extra inspiration for all participants thanks to third team‑member, Brook’s canine, Koda. Exciting content from the event, along with their experience will be available on Outside channels in November.

Land Rover U.S. Trophy Competition took place between October8‑14, amidst the beautiful autumn foliage in Manchester Vermont, at the Land Rover Experience Center. Over each wave, up to 15 two‑person teams faced off in a multitude of off‑road challenges, including physical and team building obstacles. To ensure a level playing field, owners were provided expert one‑on‑one instruction to help hone their extreme driving techniques and skills in advance of the competition.

The Defender Trophy Competition combines advanced off‑roading skills with problem‑solving challenges. Our appreciation goes out to all of our passionate owners who took part, and we celebrate each winning team as they represent North America in the events next year.
